About Doctor

Since arriving in the US after majoring in biophysics and attending medical school in Romania, Dr. Lazar has participated as postdoctoral fellow at the UPenn in translational and clinical research. He started his residency in 2005 at Lahey Clinic in MA and finished his third year at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Most recently, Dr. Lazar has completed his fellowship in general cardiology here at the University of Chicago, where his focus quickly became Electrophysiology.
