About Doctor

Dr. Harish A. Shah was born and raised in Baroda, Gujarat in India.  After completing his training in Internal Medicine at S.S.G Hospital and Medical College Baroda in the early 1980s, he emmigrated to the U.S. to begin his training in Cardiology at Christ Hospital and Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois.  

After completing his traning, Dr. Shah relocated to Northwest Indiana with his family to practice cardiovascular medicine with a small physician group. For the last 25 years, Dr. Shah has been practicing in Northwest Indiana. 

In his free time, Dr. Shah is very fond of gardening and is well-known in the community for his "green thumb".  He is also an active member of the Indian community in Northwest Indiana and is the founding member of both the Indian American Cultural Center and the Bhartiya Temple of Northwest Indiana.
